Maybelline Fit Me Concealer Review

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer receives mixed reviews, the positives comparing to Nars Creamy Concealer and the negatives claiming it is too sheer to cover dark circles or major blemishes. I fall into the camp who love this concealer and I'm someone who will do their utmost to cover dark circles but also lean towards sheerer coverages so that in itself may tell you all you need to know.

Despite being a fan of Collections famed concealer and the number one offering from Bobbi Brown I still decided to give this a try. Nars Creamy Concealer is on my list of things I want to try but this was a more affordable option and was easily popped into my shopping basket whilst doing the weekly supermarket shop.

I've mentioned before being quite lucky with my skin and often foundations will even out my skin tone and then concealer just finishes things off but I actually tried using this during one of my experimentations, on a good skin day obviously and it was successful and all that I needed for coverage.

A little goes a long way in my experience, I dot a little under my eyes and then work with either a brush or my fingers to blend in. The formula blends away nicely and leaves my under eye area concealed and tones down any redness left behind from blemishes.

I'm always conscious of products that might crease or sit in my fine lines around the eye area especially so I do ensure I set this which adds to it's longevity which isn't the longest. Again if using the right foundation I can usually just touch up with this concealer to add a few more hours to my make up.

I wear the shade #10.
